Celebrating 6 months of homeownership!

On February 25, 2021 By Lizzy JacksonIn HOME SWEET HOME, UncategorizedLeave a comment

This week marks six months of being homeowners for our family! We have accomplished so much in such a short time with a shoe string budget but still have so many more projects we want to tackle. We bought a classic little brick ranch built in the sixties with popcorn ceilings, shag carpets and drab …

From Drab to Fab, Girls Room Makeover

On February 25, 2021 By Lizzy JacksonIn HOME SWEET HOME, UncategorizedLeave a comment

There's something just so special about designing a kids room! I wanted to create a space for my girls that was fun, whimsical, and could grow with them. A neutral color palette was important to me because a neutral color pallette equals versatile and that's just what I love in a kids room. We got …

Alright, who's ready for a tour of Jadens new room?! We took it from suuuper basic gray to a colorful + punchy boy room. I decided to do a navy color on the lower half of the wall to keep from showing little handprints and wear & tear cause you know, boy room. But since …

Journey to Motherhood (Part 1)

On May 29, 2020 By Lizzy JacksonIn MOTHERHOOD, UncategorizedLeave a comment

I don't know about you, but I love hearing stories from other women about their journey to become mom. Each one is so unique and so precious. Yet each one is full of different struggles and at times, utter heartbreak. Over the next few weeks, I'll be sharing some of my favorite women's stories in …

What I Wore This Week

On May 20, 2020 By Lizzy JacksonIn STYLELeave a comment

Let's talk mom jeans. They've made a comeback (PRAISE!!) and I'm currently living in these two pairs of Wild Fable Jeans from Target. One of my favorite ways to style mom jeans is to pair them with a simple crop top tank and add a flowy kimono over top. Here's how I'm styling them this …

The Weekly Tea (5/15)

On May 16, 2020May 18, 2020 By Lizzy JacksonIn LIFE WITH LIZZYLeave a comment

Hello Friends! As I am writing this, the sun is setting and I am sinking into my cozy arm chair that I typically spend hours in each day. Early in the morning, I crawl out of bed and stumble out to this chair. I drink my coffee, I read, and I journal. Later in the …

For the friends who give you dresses that make you feel like a million bucks. Week MADE. I’ll just be over on a Wednesday, wearing this lavender crushed velvet dress, feeling like a queen ✨ thanks @mamawarcat and here’s a friendly reminder to everyone that you don’t need a reason to dress beautifully. Dress beautifully for YOU! #dressup #springstyle #feelinmyselftoday #selfie #ootd #velveteverything #velvet
Spring, I’m so ready for you ✨ #succulents #plantshopping #springcomesoon
Y’all know how much I hate these digital learning days but we are making the most of it & I’m using it as a time to really speak LIFE over our poor struggling kindergartner. So it’s marshmallow math, coffee reheated for the fifth time and stress away in the diffuser because #momlife. Also, Fred got home at midnight last night, left again at 7 this morning and won’t be home til midnight again tonight because #coplife so if you think about it, say a little prayer for us 🤪 Fred forgot his glasses this morning so now he’s out there in the wild, sleep deprived and can’t see anything 😩😭🤣. Happy Tuesday and may your coffee be stronger than your toddler... or toddlerS in this case! #goodmorning #tuesdayvibes #digitallearning #momlifebelike #toddlermomlife #kindergarten #homedecor #interiorstyle #quirkycottage #homesweethome #happyday
I always love the start of a fresh month ✨ fresh vision, new goals, new classes and fun things to plan! This month I’m trying something new in my young living biz that I made up and am calling the one hour work day. I know a lot of people (myself included) who work a young living business do it alongside other jobs, raising babies and ALL the things. But what if we committed to one solid hour a day to work our biz? That’s pretty doable right? That’s maybe one less episode of your favorite show on Netflix. So for the month of March you’ll find me six days a week, one hour a day, sitting down to do some focused tasks to propel my business forward ✌️ I’m convinced you don’t have to be a distracted momma ALWAYS glued to your phone to do this business well and it’s time to prove that. It’s amazing what we can accomplish with one FOCUSED hour. Anyways, I wanted to try something new this month and I’ll keep you posted on how it’s going ❤️ #workinfromhome #smallbusinessowner #wellness #onehourworkday #newthings #happymarch
I’m a day late, but here’s to one year of loving you sweet girl ❤️ #happybirthday #birthdaygirl
There’s literally not one room in our house that doesn’t have young living in it. It’s so much more than oils, it’s a lifestyle and that means putting my health & my families health at the center of it. Side note: I got all of this FOR FREE using my ER points. You don’t have to “do the biz” just to reap the benefits of having a clean product household ✌️ #lowtoxliving #greenclean #lifestyle #wellnesslifestyle #wellnessthatworks #morethanoils #letsdothistogether #detoxyourlife
