What I Wore This Week

Well we are back with the weekly style posts and outfits of the day friends! I’ve been wanting to shift gears for awhile now and show you guys how easy it can be to dress ethically, stylishly and affordably. Sounds like a lot? That’s what I’m here to help with. Consider this your weekly dose of style inspiration.

This outfit tells the story of “mama tried”. It was a crazy busy day with back to back yoga classes that I had to teach all while trying to run back and forth between my studio and house to help take care of the kids so I wanted to be comfortable. I’m always looking for pants that I can do yoga in but that aren’t your typical athleisure. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good athleisure set, but when you teach yoga every day it can get a little boring. I love the quirkiness of this outfit and all the patterns at play. Comfortable enough to wrangle babies in and yoga in but still cute enough to feel confident and funky.

Outfit details: Polka dot glasses- Claire’s // Grey crop top – Plato’s closet // Liz Claiborne purse – Thrift Store find from highschool (mama raised me well) // Pants – bought from a friends closet but originally from American Eagle // Shoes – Yara Birkenstocks

I paired it with some super funky pig tails and voila! Completely fun + ethical +eco friendly outfit. I love crop tops but always feel a little self conscious because, well, ya know… three babies in three years so #mompouch. So my trick around this is I pair my crop tops with high waisted pants, shorts or skirts to hide my mom pouch but still let’s me show a little slither of skin and enjoy my crop top collection. Yall – the mom life struggle is real. But I’m constantly finding ways to rock my favorite pieces with confidence and I hope you will too! Got a style question you need help with? Drop it in the comments and I’ll address it in an upcoming post!

Thanks for reading this week and as always, stay fabulous.
