Happy first day of Autumn my friends! We are celebrating the changing of seasons today by decorating our front and back porches for fall and of course, pumpkin bread! I also can’t wait to dive into my fall/winter crafts. I’m already planning ahead if I’m going to make any gifts for Christmas this year so I can get a head start. Anyone else already planning their Christmas crafting? If so, what are you planning to make? Anyone else fall crafting this weekend? Would love to hear from you on what your making in the comments!
Of course I had to welcome my favorite season in style so I grabbed this super cute Urban Outfitters skirt from the local goodwill and this cute short sleeve turtle neck was a hand me down from my aunt! I added my favorite hat (Target) and one of my favorite pairs of booties (Payless) and a cute vintage bag. Since it’s not cool and crisp out yet, I’m wearing a skirt and short sleeves. I think this skirt will transition perfectly into the cooler weather though paired with tights and boots!
I’m about to start transitioning my closet from summer to fall this afternoon. I love this post from one of my all time favorite bloggers about creating a fall capsule wardrobe and fully plan to use this as a guideline for creating my own fall capsule collection. I can’t wait to share snippets of it with you here on the blog! After I finish my own closet, I’ll move onto transitioning all of my kids clothes.
