Hey Friends. It’s taken me a long time to come back around to outfit posts for several reasons the first one being that I’ve been pregnant or very newly post-partum for the past two years and wallowing in self pity over my mom body. The second reason being, most all of my clothes come from the thrift store so I’ve continued to tell myself that people don’t want to see outfits that they can’t easily find all the pieces for with shop links like most traditional fashion bloggers do. But after some encouragement from a friend and after coming out of a long postpartum depression fog, I’ve finally decided to start doing outfit posts again. Yes, most of my outfits are thrifted so you won’t be able to buy the exact same outfit with the click of a button, but you will hopefully be inspired to hit up a thrift shop near you or just to experiment with similar pieces from your own wardrobe. So let’s dive in with some outfits I’ve been wearing on repeat lately.
Overalls
The best outfits are the ones that require little to no effort so overalls have been one of my go-to’s lately. Pair it with a tank top and lightweight flowy piece over top and you’ve got an effortlessly-cool outfit. #IWOKEUPLIKETHIS anyone?
Overalls- purchased from a facebook friends closet but originally from F21. Lightweight Kimono- Thrift Store. Tank Top- Target.
Casual Comfort
I’ve been loving this flowy tunic because anything flowy is totally my jam. I also have been obsessing over these shoes that I found at the thrift store last week that were new with tags from Target! **Insert major happy dance**.
Top – Thrift Store find. Necklace – Stella and Dot layered with a piece that was a gift from my husband. Jeans – Walmart and they fit like a charm. Shoes – Originally from Target but I scored them at Goodwill.
All Dressed Up
Meetings, date night or any other time when I might need to get gussied up I have been wearing this $2 dress. I have mentioned it many time before that I am a huge fan of the Refuge Coffee Clothing Pop Up shop they do a few times a year. I literally will clear my calendar months in advance to be able to make this fun event. I have never left empty handed and always come away with fabulous finds and this beautiful scarf dress was my latest find.
Dress – Refuge Coffee Pop Up Shop. Necklace – Made by me. Steve Madden Wedges – Thrift store.
Thanks for reading along today and I hope you feel inspired to have a little more fun with your wardrobe this week. As always, stay fabulous!
You are truly an inspiration!
